Hello and welcome to Summer!

I’m in my 3rd week recovering from rectal resection surgery with an ileostomy loop. Fingers crossed that I’ll have a reversal done in 3-5 weeks and won’t have to live with an ostomy bag (No offence Mildred, you’re doing a great job, but I’d like to poop out my butt again.).

I’ve almost got a handle on the peri-stomal skin problems I was having, which is making life a lot more doable, but it’s definitely one day at a time over here.

Thankfully, a wealth of 12-step wisdom, personal growth tools, and yogic philosophy is ingrained in my brain and can be applied to every aspect of this cancer journey.

The Billies are still touring Eureka Springs! For Pride month, they will be hanging out at Just Bee Coffee Bar. More to come on that soon…

“In the heartlight” is back with the continuation of our discussion with Mr. James of MrJames Workshop. This time we will be discussing his video, “Creation”. And soon to come is a long-overdue discussion with Belen Arriola- you never know what may come up as we discuss life and how we live it.

The A’musing Mondays Archives are still overflowing with A’Musements, so keep an eye out for those. And who knows what else might find its way in front of our eyeballs and into our earbuds!
