Hi darlin!
It’s raining outside. My hair’s a mess. The dog’s eating a walnut. I’m stirring something that’s kind of risotto—because if it were real risotto, I wouldn’t be able to talk to you right now.
I’m sharing this because I know how hard it can be to feed yourself when life gets turned upside down—after surgery, after loss, after a long day. Cooking used to be second nature for me. But since my rectal cancer diagnosis and surgeries, it’s been a process of figuring out what I can eat, what my body can handle, and how to make it all work in this tiny kitchen.
No filters. No food stylists. Just me, my dog, and some damn good risotto.
Green Chef has been one of the small helpers in that process. The meals are simple, nourishing, and actually taste good. They’ve helped me rebuild my relationship with food—one pot, one meal, one messy countertop at a time.
I’m not here to convince you to buy anything. I’m sharing what’s worked for me in case you need a little support too.
If you want to try it, here’s a link—you’ll get a free box (just pay shipping), and I’ll get a credit toward my next meals. That helps me keep experimenting and sharing what’s real from this little pink-punk kitchen of mine.
Perfect for anyone rebuilding their relationship with food, recovering from something big, or just trying to survive the holidays without living on cheese cubes and wine.
Until next time…Love ya lots!
