Today is MRI day! I’ve been waiting six weeks for this day. Of course I won’t know the results until Monday, but hey, this is progress!
Anytime I go to the cancer center I like to wear bright colors because everybody there tends to wear a lot of sweatpants and shades of gray. So when I walk in, I usually see quite a few smiles on people’s faces, including the staff. When I was in radiation, it was not uncommon for me to hear. “I wonder what she’s wearing today.”
So yes, today’s ensemble is a yellow and white cotton, fruity maxi, mumu, and blue alligator pumps. Because, why not?
I actually learned that this is technically dopamine dressing. Not only does it increase my dopamine levels, but it helps to increase the dopamine levels of other people too. I believe it also tends to build a little bit of community because people will often just stop to talk to me. Random strangers that you were always very interesting.
So there’s that! I’m on my way out the door
Love ya lots!
